Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using WowPhoto ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Who can use the App
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use a mobile app without parental consent) to use WowPhoto.
3. The service
WowPhoto uses AI to restore old, damaged, or faded photographs. You upload a photo, the App produces a restored version, and you can save the result to your device.
4. Your account
WowPhoto uses anonymous accounts only. We do not ask for an email, password, or any social-network sign-in. The App generates a random identifier on first launch and stores it in your device's secure storage so that you can keep your history across app launches and reinstalls.
If you delete your history and uninstall the App, your account is effectively gone — there is nothing else linked to you on our side. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.
5. Your photos and content
- You keep all rights to the photos you upload and to the restored versions the App creates.
- By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process the photo solely to produce the restoration and store it for you in your history.
- We do not use your photos to train AI models.
- We send your photos to our AI processing partner (Runware) for the sole purpose of restoring them. Runware does not receive any identifier linking the photo to you.
- You are responsible for the photos you upload. You may not upload photos that you do not have the right to use, or photos that violate the Acceptable Use rules below.
6. Restoration results
AI restoration is automated and the results vary. We do not guarantee any specific quality, accuracy, or resemblance to the original. You can use, share, or delete the restored versions as you wish.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or that infringes anyone's rights
- Upload content depicting minors in a sexual or otherwise inappropriate context
- Use the App to harass, threaten, or impersonate any person
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the App's security or rate limits
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service or its outputs
- Submit content that our AI processing partner's safety filters reject; their decisions are not under our control
We may suspend access for any user who violates these rules.
8. Credits, free quota, and purchases
The App uses a credit-based system: each photo restoration costs one credit.
- Free quota. Every new device receives 1 free restoration. The free credit is one-time and does not regenerate.
- Credit packs. You can buy additional credits as one-time purchases through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The packs available, their prices, and their credit amounts are shown inside the App.
- Credits do not expire.
- All purchases are billed and processed by Apple or Google. We do not handle your payment card or billing details.
9. Refunds and cancellations
- Refunds for purchases are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play under their respective policies. We do not issue our own refunds.
- If a refund is issued by the platform, we will adjust your remaining credit balance to reflect it. Credits already spent on completed restorations cannot be reversed.
- You can cancel a restoration that is still queued from inside the App; in that case the credit is automatically refunded to your balance. Once a restoration has started processing it cannot be cancelled.
10. Notifications
If you opt in to push notifications, we may send you a notification when a restoration is finished. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App's settings or in your device's system settings.
11. Service availability and changes
We work to keep the App running smoothly but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where reasonable, we will tell you in advance through the App.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. You can delete your data via Settings → Clear history and then uninstall the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
13. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WowPhoto and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WowPhoto operates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to bring any dispute exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the change is significant, we will notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the new Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
